Chris

Christopher holds a music degree from Illinois State University and has taught private guitar lessons for over 20 years. Chris has experience playing in numerous ensembles with an extensive background in classical, pop, rock, and jazz guitar. He is also a member of local three piece string band, Chasing the Turn, featuring tight knit harmonies with soaring electric leads on time honored classic rock and folk tunes.

Shireen

Shireen is a summa cum laude graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University, where she earned degrees in Music and Accounting. In addition to Micro Spice, she captivates audiences with vocals for the Heartland Jazz Orchestra and high-energy pop/rock band Party Cannon. She also brings her talents to the stage, having portrayed roles such as Joanne in RENT, Sherrie in Rock of Ages, and Lucy Harris in Jekyll & Hyde. Beyond the stage and bandstand, Shireen shares her voice as a cantor at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Bloomington.
